FiveRivers International is a social enterprise that emphasizes an inclusive workplace environment. We match job seekers who are socially vulnerable like new immigrants and ethnic minorities with like-minded employers to help them find new jobs and careers in Canada.
FiveRivers International works with a batch of local employers in Canada, for example, restaurant owners and office owners, to offer the newest and the most updated job vacancies to these minorities, the low skill level required and a perfect pathway to kick start their employment journey in Canada. We match these talents with like-minded employers to provide them with a place to shine and utilize their skills and expertise, offering these ethnic minorities and immigrants an employment opportunity.
In order to encourage them to stand up in the market, FiveRivers International allows them to find jobs with low entry requirements, which provides them with a way to earn a living and sustain their lives in a foreign country once they moved to Canada.
On the other hand, FiveRivers International works with a number of professional headhunters and different mentors in providing the newest and the most updated market information as well as informative blogs and articles for users’ access in order to increase their knowledge about the local Canadian market and competitiveness in the labour force.
About Founder
The founder understands the challenge and difficulties that immigrants and ethnic minorities face when searching for jobs in a new environment. Being an ethnic minority himself, he is aware of the situation that his people may face. He helped a number of immigrants and ethnic minorities by providing personal career advice and opinions, he then find it meaningful to assist the socially vulnerable people in job hunting and career planning, he wishes to start a business in the recruitment field, and that is when he knew that Canada has a sizable market of these people who needs help. He hopes to utilize his experience and connection in helping to gather the most sophisticated database of job vacancies suitable for newcomers in Canada, and to empower these people in building a career and new life in Canada.
By starting FiveRivers, the founder aims to help immigrants and ethnic minorities in Canada to soar high in their career, or at least, to sustain living in a new environment. And by utilizing his existing business network, he is confident in helping people with similar background to get employed and to move upwards in the society.
